Serpents in the New Religion

So I was at a friends house and Ancients Aliens was on ( I know, don’t ask)

Anyways the whole show was about “serpents” coming down from the heavens and becoming the gods of the various pagan religions , manifesting in various ancient symbols, and being Jesus Christ (a la CJB). Now I know the Kaballah, at least certain gematria schools, believes that God is a serpent represented by the symbol Vav. I also recognize that there has been a push to associate aliens with reptiles. Now I’m not sure what to make of all this but I do have some ideas.

The first of which is that there has been a great ecumenical movement to convince people that all world religions worship the same god(s) just in different ways, that all religion is a primitive cultural expression of the same universal truths. I would wager that 90% of the world believes in this to some degree right now. Now we also know that the serpent is the representation of the Devil in Christian theology. So basically my thought is that the whole alien and universalist ecumenical movement is intrinsically tied together as a demonic subversion and may in fact be the final world religion for the masses. Now this is just speculation not a firm belief but I think it’s possible.
