Josh I'm a little curious, do you know how many German's from this time period had some Jewish ancestry, and how does that compare with the Nazi leadership?
The best I can find is that the 1935 Nuremburg Race Laws classified about 1% of the population as either being Jewish or mixed Jewish.

However I suspect the real number to be higher due to people wanting to hide their Jewish ancestry from the Nazi's.
I can’t say I know, and although I'm sure it is possible to get a ballpark idea, we can't be for sure how many. It is difficult to figure it out for various reasons such as the fact much of the Jewish ancestry has been carefully concealed or lost to history. In addition, before Nazi Germany, the German government did not classify many individuals who had Jewish ancestry as Jewish, not to mention those who changed their names, so it makes it all the more difficult. One thing is for sure regarding Nazi leadership, is that we continue to find that a large number of people who had Jewish ancestry were given ‘the right documents.’
The number is actually higher and doesn't account for varying kinds of part-Jews, but this is a reference to the population:

I would add that Bryan Mark Rigg, in his study of part-Jews in Nazi Germany, wrote himself that the number is probably much higher than 150,000 who were in the Nazi government and that many of the part-Jews were successful in forging documents for themselves proving they were "Aryan". Something of a split amongst so-called "holocaust deniers" and "antisemites" is opinions on what role was played by Jews in Hitler's ascension to power. This forum has proven it without a doubt.
However, here is a perspective/analysis from a different angle.
In the later-half of the 19th century, banking journals often claimed that no nation could sustain a prolonged war without Jewish bankers[1], that the Rothschilds hold in their hands "peace in Europe" [2], and a few Jewish bankers were the "arbitrators of peace and war" [3]. After World War One, not only did the power of the bankers increase, but so did Jewish control over the German government [4].
Zionist Jews wanted Jews in Palestine, but the majority of Jews prior to the Holocaust, despised Zionism [5] or were neutral. Some Zionist Jews frequently spoke of Hitler as a "Messenger of God" [6] even as their "Messiah" [7]. Several prominent Jews are on record [8]: stating Jews financed Hitler, even Hitler's predecessor as German chancellor said so [9].
An undeniable fact is that the Nazis went to huge lengths to round-up Jews in Europe. Traversing Greek Islands to collect Jews, shipping them off (via Auschwitz) East. Even in the spring of 1944, the Nazis were expending valuable resources on the Jewish round-up, which undoubtedly could have been used against the conquering Red Army, or the American forces poised to invade mainland Europe from Britain.
The Zionists got what they wanted, and very likely, just by how Theodor Herzl suggested they should. [10]

Brüning's information came from the internal security agencies of the state, which were tasked with finding the secret funding sources of the NSDAP. Bruning, during the period he was Chancellor, had at his fingertips top - level German intelligence. He had all the Secret Service methods of surveillance at his behest.
Irving pointed out that Bruning tried to suppress the letter he sent to Churchill afterwards. He did not want that secret getting out to the public because he didn’t want to embarrass the Jews.
