In the same 2009, the Local Council of the Russian Orthodox Church elected Metropolitan KIRILL as Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia. Many bloggers came to this opinion after comparing two photographs: a thief in law whose hands are up to the elbows in blood and a swindler of the Moscow ROC - Kirill (Gundyaev):
