‘Traditionalist’ Dugin: Russian cities should be populated with robots and given control over them; 'they are more interesting, they are smarter, they are efficient'

According to Dugin's suggestion, Russian cities should be populated with robots and given control over them.

Philosopher Alexander Dugin proposed to populate Russian megacities with robots and give them control over cities. In his opinion, mass robotization should become one of the key goals of the country's development regardless of financial restrictions.

"We will become not slave owners, but robo-owners," Dugin told Mash Money, talking about what Russia will look like in the future. According to him, the country needs a large-scale robotization program and the transfer of management functions to artificial intelligence. "We must populate the country with an army of Russian robots. There will be no money for robots - we'll print... Each city will be headed by a robot," the philosopher said. He believes that the issue of money in such a model is secondary. The main thing is to set a goal and start moving towards technological sovereignty. According to Dugin, robotization should be part of the image of the future Russia.

Dugin noted the advantages of robots compared to humans. "First of all, they are more interesting. Secondly, they are smarter, then they are efficient. Not surrounded by flesh, which an ordinary person is drawn to sleep, eat, walk-walk. They are focused on their goal... I think we should be like robots. Then we will not be replaced," he emphasized.

Earlier, Dugin spoke in his blog about the need to strengthen state control over society and called for perceiving this as an inevitable reality. According to him, citizens should accept the fact that in the modern world control exists in any case, so it is preferable that it be exercised by their own state, and not by external forces. "They won't be their own, there will be other people's. Yes, we live in such a world, we have no other world for you," he wrote. Dugin also noted that the idea of a complete lack of control is utopian and unrealistic, and the control itself should be carried out "with intelligence, care and attention".
