I wonder what will happen to my site when I increase my attention to it as a result of leaving X. I have never operated the site without the distraction of X.
I’m itching to leave it. Just wondering if it is God’s will. Any advice?
Im liking the improvements to the site you've been making so if your focused here then I think the site will get alot better.

My advice is Quality over quantity. You can reach more people on X but its like talking to goldfish. You only have a small core group of people here, but its a better crowd. Once you leave X, after the withdrawls your head will clear and the programming will fade and you will be a happier nicer person ( not saying you aren't already, but you will see improvement) you will be able to think clearer and more deeply, whatever work you dedicate yourself to will reflect that.

Another thing I learned is that social media stifles your creativity. Can only be positive from here on in.

Indeed, Ariane.
Social media allows you to obtain some research, but it seems it’s only a fraction of the mostly useless information that is thrown at you when you’re on there. I think the only way I would go back to X is it if was automated to post new content published on this site. Then I wouldn’t have to engage much or at all.
Over time, I began to realize how little I was reading and researching due to being too focused on putting out mostly unthinking content for X. There are a lot of articles out there on how useless social media is for engagement for deep-thinking content. I want to get back to reading and doing better research. Another thing, X wasn’t driving much traffic to my site. I was on X for 13 years and gained only 6,700 followers while garnering little engagement with the site from that X traffic.
Well it was a bold move to make such a radical break with X. I won't be spending much time on X, but I'll continue to post your work/articles.
