Russians warned of tougher rules for obtaining weapons permits
From March 1, stricter rules for obtaining a weapon permit will begin to operate in Russia, in particular, this will affect the passage of a medical examination. Vadim Medvedev, deputy head of the Moscow Department of the Russian Guard, head of the Center for Licensing and Permits, told about this, TASS reports .
The main difference from the current order will be the mandatory passage of a medical examination in institutions of the state or municipal health care system.
In addition, the National Guard will be able to check the fact of its passage in real time.
In January, the head of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin , announced the need to transfer control over the circulation of civilian weapons to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He believes that the police will be able to tighten supervision over this area.
