Russians beat a nurse over refusal to test for COVID-19
In Krasnoyarsk, Russians beat a nurse because she refused to give them a PCR test. This was stated in the regional Ministry of Health , reports Ngs.24.
It is clarified that the nurse came to do a COVID-19 test for a local resident. The people living with her also demanded to have a PCR test. The nurse refused, after which they pounced on her.
The Ministry of Health said that, according to the regulations, a medical worker is not allowed to test for coronavirus if a person does not have symptoms of the disease.
“As a result of the conflict, a medical worker was injured, and one of the women had a broken phone,” the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement posted on the agency’s website .
The police are checking and finding out the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, a resident of St. Petersburg attacked a nurse while taking a smear for coronavirus. A Russian patient with COVID-19 grabbed the woman by the hand and threatened her with scissors. As the injured nurse said, she ran away from him and wrote a statement to the police.
