Russian woman sued for treating wounded ISIS terrorists

In the Republic of Dagestan, a Russian woman who helped terrorists of the organization "Islamic State" (IS) banned in the Russian Federation was prosecuted. This was announcedon Friday, March 4, by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).

According to the investigation, a 20-year-old resident of Izberbash took part in the activities of the group in 2016 and provided medical assistance as a nurse and treated wounded militants. A case was opened against the detainee for participation in the activities of a terrorist organization and participation in an illegal armed formation.

A complex of investigative actions is being carried out in the case, aimed at consolidating the evidence base, a suspect is being searched. The criminal investigation is ongoing.

On February 11, it was reported that in the Stavropol Territory, a criminal case was opened against a detained 18-year-old Russian citizen on preparation for a terrorist act.
