Russian region will introduce QR codes when boarding planes and trains

Kamchatka from 23 November to introduce rules under which the QR-code needed when boarding the aircraft in all directions within the region, reported the press service of the regional government.

As the governor of the Russian region, Vladimir Solodov , noted , residents will be obliged to show documents on vaccination or on a past illness on trains and individual bus routes between the districts of the Kamchatka Territory . “We will introduce this tool for inter-municipal transportation, both by air and by land,” said the head. However, PCR tests will not be accepted.

Earlier it became known that in the Kaliningrad region the QR-codes system for visiting catering and shopping centers will be extended until February 2022. The government promised to expand the list of areas where it will be necessary to present a QR code.
