EAO will receive 220 million for development
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the allocation of subsidies for the social development of economic growth centers to six regions of the Far Eastern Federal District (FED). Within the framework of this decision, more than 220 million rubles are provided for the Jewish Autonomous Region (EAO), the telegram channel "News of the EAO" reports.
Of these, 164.4 million in 2025 and 63 million in 2026. As the channel notes, this decision will also reduce the debt of the EAO, and direct the released funds, according to the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, to investments and infrastructure projects, including the implementation of city master plans.
Recall that earlier the head of the EAO Maria Kostyuk said that with the support of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Federal District Yuri Trutnev, the autonomy received 600 million rubles from the federal center for repairs of social facilities and improvement in the areas of the autonomy.
