Today, at a liturgy in the cathedral in Odintsovo, Patriarch Kirill delivered a speech about the chosenness of Russia, the historical path, fascism and the salvation of the world:
“Thanks to the sacrifices of Russia, victory was achieved. Perhaps today the Lord is calling us to help the world to be saved as well. The Lord, perhaps, chooses our fatherland,” the patriarch said.
