Nebius Volozha bought Inferize startup from Tel Aviv

Nebius Group, headed by Arkady Volozh, announced the acquisition of the Israeli technology startup Inferize. The amount of the financial transaction is not disclosed by the parties, but industry experts of The Marker estimate the takeover in the range of $100 to $150 million.
The Inferize startup was established in Tel Aviv only about ten months ago. The company develops technologies that accelerate the work of artificial intelligence and remove delays when it is launched. The main value of Israeli development is to solve the problem of slow "warming up" of neural networks. Algorithms created by the startup allow AI to instantly adapt to the influx of users. This protects expensive and scarce graphics processors (GPUs) from downtime, forcing them to work at full capacity.
Upon completion of the integration, the entire startup team of 17 engineers and their technological prototypes will be completely transferred to a specialized division of Nebius Token Factory, which is engaged in the development of global cloud infrastructure for AI developers around the world. Inferize CEO Giy Bortnikov said that as part of the new platform, the team will be able to directly solve the most complex infrastructure problems and achieve maximum performance from each processor. Due to this acquisition, Nebius intends to strengthen its position in the cloud computing market in the United States and Europe.
