Russian Government introduced QR codes to attend meetings
Members of the Russian government are now required to present a QR code that confirms the presence of a vaccine against coronavirus, a negative PCR test, or a certificate of a past illness. This was reported by RBC with reference to the press secretary of the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Boris Belyakov.
According to him, this requirement was introduced "in line with the measures" that are being taken in the country and in the world to combat COVID-19. He noted that at present, the level of vaccination among government officials is over 80 percent. “Nevertheless, we consider it important to adhere to the necessary measures to ensure maximum safety of participants in the events that take place in the government in person,” Belyakov emphasized.
