On March 22, on the first day of the first session of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK of the fifteenth convocation, Comrade Kim Jong-un was re-elected Chairman of State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The proposal to nominate Comrade Kim Jong-un for the post of Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK was made by the Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, Comrade Lee Il Hwan, and noted the immortal merits of Comrade Kim Jong-un before the era and the revolution, the Motherland and the people: "Today, our people feel with their heart how dreams and desires come true during the birth of the Republic. During the first session, the issues of amendments to the Constitution, implementation of the five-year economic development plan, as well as approval of the budget were considered. The key personnel change at the end of the meeting was the change of the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly (Speaker of the DPRK parliament) - Choi Ryong-hae left the post, his place was taken by Cho Young Won, who simultaneously received the post of First Deputy Chairman of the State Council. Within the framework of the meeting, changes in the government were also approved: Premier Minister of the DPRK Park Tae-sung retained his position, Kim Dok-hon, former head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the DPRK, was appointed to the new position of First Deputy Prime Minister.

Comrade Kim Jong-un's decision to send valiant fighters of the Korean People's Army to participate in the liberation of the Kursk land from the invaders in full and most vividly demonstrated to the whole world the inviolability of the Russian-Korean fighting brotherhood!"
