‘Russia is multinational’: Russian-Jewish NGO FENKA

The purpose of the project is to acquaint Russians with the national diversity of our country, with interesting people of different ethnic origins - citizens of Russia, - their way of life, culture, traditions, roots, religious attributes.
The project involves the creation of an international cultural and educational Art Object (photo exhibitions with interesting journalistic comments, as well as the release of a single presentation catalog under the common name "Multinational Russia").
The project "Pultinational Russia" contributes to the formation of an understanding of Russian society as multinational and multicultural.
As part of the project, photographers traveled all over Russia, filming representatives of different nationalities. The journalists accompanying them wrote small essays about the heroes of the photo reports. The criteria for the selection of heroes were approved by the Expert Council, which included leaders of national and cultural autonomies, scientists, government officials, media representatives.
The heroes of the project show how you can be Russian and preserve your ethnocultural identity at the same time. Each of them shared his secret - how, despite everything, to live in companion with yourself and others.
The presentation of the project was held in several regions.
The project is implemented by the NGO "Federal Jewish National and Cultural Autonomy" (NGO "FENKA") together with the Foundation for the Revival of Traditions "Jewish National Fund".
