Putin's rabbi says Chabad behind Russia's most effective revolution
THE WHOLE WORLD , November 28, 2005 , 19:27 — REGNUM Today, on November 28, the congress of Chabad envoys, which traditionally takes place in New York, where the main synagogue of the Lubavitcher Hasidim is located, completed its work, which lasted 5 days, a REGNUM correspondent was told in the press service of the Chief Rabbi of Russia.
This year's congress brought together a record number of participants - about 3,000 people. More than 400 guests from secular Jewish organizations also took part in it. The program of the congress included seminars on a wide range of issues related to the activities of envoys. Particular attention was paid to the study of languages, primarily European, as well as Hebrew and Russian. If earlier the main number of envoys came from the USA, Israel, England and a small number of other countries, then the new generation of "shlukhim" (translated from Hebrew - envoy) consists of people from 70 countries.
The culmination of the annual congress of Chabad emissaries is the honoring of the "shlukhim" themselves, as recognition of their selflessness and devotion to the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
This year, the right to make the main speech at this event on behalf of all "shluchim" was granted to the Chief Rabbi of Russia Berlu Lazar .
In his speech, Rabbi Lazar stated: “Russia has known many revolutions, but the most peaceful, quietest and most effective is the revolution that Chabad envoys created. the Rebbe's teachings have kindled the spark of Jewish life in tens of thousands of hearts."
Chabbad has always been the strongest force in Russia, Stalin's purges have eliminated those who opposed Chabbad and replaced them with Chabbadic agents. Russia is 100% Chabbad owned and controlled.
