Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on fines for identifying the USSR and Nazi Germany. The document is posted on the portal of legal information.
According to the law, citizens are liable in the form of a fine in the amount of one thousand to two thousand rubles or administrative arrest for up to 15 days. For officials, the fine will be from two thousand to four thousand rubles, for legal entities - from 10 thousand to 50 thousand rubles.
In addition, for a repeated violation, a fine in the amount of 2.5 thousand to 5 thousand rubles or arrest for up to 15 days is established, the document says.
Earlier, the corresponding law was adopted by the deputies of the State Duma in the final, third reading. At the same time, the chairman of the Duma Committee on Culture , Elena Yampolskaya , said that participants in television and radio broadcasts who spoke publicly could receive fines for equalizing the role of the USSR and Nazi Germany in the war. Roskomnadzor and the prosecutor's office will monitor offenses , she added.
