Putin awards Kadyrov rank of lieutenant general
Kadyrov was awarded the rank of lieutenant general By order of the President of Russia and its commander-in-chief Vladimir Putin, the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, was awarded the rank of lieutenant general of the internal troops.
This was announced on Monday, March 28, by Magomed Daudov, speaker of the Chechen parliament, who noted that Kadyrov's contribution to the victory over international terrorism in the republic cannot be overestimated. Daudov has already congratulated the head of the Chechen Republic on his new title. He added that Ramzan Kadyrov "is an example of true, selfless and disinterested service to his Fatherland and people."
