PGNiG has confirmed media reports regarding the suspension of Russian gas supplies to Poland. The company said it had received a letter from Gazprom announcing a complete stoppage of deliveries from tomorrow.

Most European countries, including Poland, did not agree to Putin's condition of paying in rubles for Russian gas. The Kremlin threatened to stop gas supplies to these countries in response. Now Gazprom is carrying out this threat against Poland.

PGNiG and GAZ-SYSTEM inform that currently all deliveries to customers are carried out in accordance with their needs. The companies monitor the situation and are prepared for various scenarios "

It was indicated that PGNiG was ready to obtain gas from various directions.
