American director Woody Allen told about his trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg. The filmmaker highly appreciated Russian cities, "Izvestia" refers.
Allen did not specify when exactly his last visit to Russia took place, but noted that he was satisfied with the trip. "When I went to St. Petersburg, everything went amazingly. We went to the ballet, it was good, the place turned out to be lively, people had fun. It was a great experience," the director shared.
He added that he stayed in St. Petersburg for several days, after which he went to Moscow. In the capital, the filmmaker had a good time in several museums. "So, you know, I have only positive impressions of Moscow and St. Petersburg," Allen concluded.
The Moscow International Film Week started with a bright event - a meeting of two famous directors. At the opening of the event, an open session was held with the participation of Fedor Bondarchuk and Woody Allen.
The American director joined the Moscow International Film Week via video link. His session entitled "Legends of World Cinema" was held on August 24.
