The American giant Nvidia entered the capital of Nebius Group Arkady Volozha, acquiring a share of 9.3%. This is reported by CNBC with reference to documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Against the background of this news, the shares of the cloud provider at NASDAQ trading increased by almost 8%.
Nebius Group is a former Dutch Yandex N.V., transformed into an international provider of computing power for artificial intelligence. Over the past 12 months, the company's securities have risen in price by almost 250%, and its market capitalization has reached $46 billion. In June 2026, Nebius shares were included in the NASDAQ 100 index.
The interest of investors and industry giants in Volozha is growing due to large-scale expansion: Nebius builds data centers in the UK, Finland and France, and also concludes billion-dollar contracts for the provision of AI infrastructure with Meta Platforms, Microsoft and the developer Reflection AI.
