Against the backdrop of Russia's protracted war against Ukraine, in Europe, which wants to free itself from its deep dependence on Russian hydrocarbons, the decision has matured to start buying natural gas from Israel.
It turns out that negotiations between the parties have been going on for some time. The parties even managed to exchange drafts of draft agreements. Given Europe's huge need for gas supplies on the eve of the onset of winter, it can be assumed that the agreement will probably be signed in the coming months.
The EU Energy Commissioner has already met with the Israeli Energy Minister. With Russia supplying some 40 percent of the EU's gas needs before the start of the war in Ukraine, finding alternative sources of supply quickly has become essential for Europeans. And both sides understand this.
The very fact that small Israel comes to the aid of vast Europe is wonderful and remarkable in itself.
One way or another, now, when the European continent urgently needs this vital assistance, it is Israel that turned out to be among those few countries that are able to provide it.
Europe seems to rely on Israel's high potential and technical reliability, as well as its strategic stability. All these factors make Israel the most important energy supplier that Europe can count on during the winter when it needs a large and continuous flow of gas - without interruptions or interruptions.
Undoubtedly, we are witnessing another manifestation of the Era of Moshiach - Israel this winter will be one of those who will bring the flow of energy - light and heat - to Europe!
Thus, Israel becomes a “light to the nations” – not only spiritually, but also physically, in the truest sense of the word!
Note that at the moment when the countries of the EU, through their energy commissioner, turn to Israel for help, the stability and security of Israel becomes their own and essential need. Now, only if Israel is strong and secure, they (the EU countries) will be able to exist peacefully and securely.
And this is surely also another sign of the Liberation - now the European powers need Israel and rely on Israel!
So it will be with the onset of full Liberation in the future, when all nations recognize that the people of Israel have been chosen by the Almighty for a special mission, and that it is possible to approach the Creator of the world and achieve a good life, both physically and spiritually, only through good relations with Israel, and only by accepting the seven commandments of the sons of Noah, which must be observed, in the words of the great Maimonides, "to the whole world"
