The videos of Hodos became quite popular and most of the “dummies” in the Jewish question comprehended him precisely from the words of the “fighter against Chabad”, Eduard. Even authoritative pastors of the Orthodox Church began to refer to him, especially since he was regularly promoted by the Moscow Third Rome website.
In the meantime, the Orthodox somehow didn’t even notice that in his videos Eduard didn’t baptize himself on camera, didn’t pronounce the words Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit at the beginning or at the end of the address, which is usually typical for an Orthodox and true believing Christian.
His disassembly mostly concerned the political figures of Ukraine, rather than the religious leaders from Chabad. And politicians are always just pawns who decide nothing.
The coverage of Chabad activities in Russia was done in every possible way, but everything is not so simple with them there either.
Attention was focused on hatred towards Ukrainians (and indeed his videos are more aimed at the Russian audience).
This is exactly what was said in Schneerson's famous speech, because of which the Slavyanin newspaper was closed after the trial, where his full speech was published in 2000.

At one Ukrainian forum of numismatists, one of the participants unsubscribed that he had known Hodos since the 80s, when he was huckstered by reselling and buying up antiques and icons. Now Hodos calls himself simply a collector.
