First ever Jewish Advisory Council established in New York
ERIC ADAMS

With a growing Jewish population and a rich variety of Jewish organizations and institutions of traditional Judaism, New York City has grown into one of the most prosperous places on earth.

New York, the bustling capital of technology and innovation, once again surprised the whole world. New York Mayor Eric Adams announced the formation of the Jewish Advisory Council. It will include 37 representatives of Jewish communities and organizations who, in the process of regular meetings, will collectively solve the pressing problems of the New York Jewish communities. On the agenda of this council is the improvement of Jewish life in many parts of the city. Joel Eisdorfer, Senior Advisor to Mayor Adams, plays an active role on this council. Council members: activists of public organizations, representatives of non-profit organizations and many representatives of traditional Judaism. With a growing Jewish population and a rich variety of Jewish organizations and institutions of traditional Judaism, New York City has grown into one of the most prosperous places on earth. Adams noted that it is necessary to actively follow the example of New York, whose "Jewish community is the largest in the world outside of Israel." He agrees that the council will be able to positively influence the life of the city in many areas: in public safety, in the field of education, and will also significantly improve the quality of life, and Jews will be able to quickly and easily receive support, necessary assistance and access to resources that will be arrange advice. With God's help, other cities in the US and around the world will understand what a unique people lives among them and will take an example from New York.

Glory to God that from New York around the world the Lubavitcher Rebbe SHLITA King Moshiach improves the life of every Jew and Jewish woman, wherever he is. His concern is manifested in the fact that he worries about the protection, well-being, well-being of all Jews so that they have more energy and joy to serve the Almighty, fulfilling the Torah and the commandments entrusted to the Jewish people and being a unique example for other peoples in how they themselves need to lead.

How not to succumb to the propaganda of anti-Semitism, respect the Jewish people and develop peaceful relations with them? Lubavitcher Rebbe SHLITA King Moshiach instructs all non-Jews to take upon themselves the fulfillment of the 7 commandments that Moshe Rabbeinu received on Mount Sinai for all other peoples, along with the 10 commandments that he received for the people of Israel. The peaceful coexistence of other peoples together with the Jewish people in a prosperous world definitely pleases the Almighty, because non-Jews follow His instructions. Realizing the chosenness of the Jewish people, which serves the Creator of the world, non-Jews neutralize any negative emotions in relation to the people of Israel!
