Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, leader of the People's Patriotic Forces Gennady Andreevich Zyuganov congratulated the Muslims of Russia and the world on the holiday of Eid-al-Fitr - Uraz-bayram, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his address, he noted the spiritual significance of this time, stressed the importance of the unity of the peoples of Russia and wished Muslims peace, prosperity and a bright future.

Dear compatriots and friends!
I congratulate you, your families, neighbors and friends on the bright holiday of Eid-al-Fitr - Uraza-bayram.
The strict period of Ramadan fasting has ended - a time intended for prayers, spiritual purification and renewal. It coincided with the Great Lent, observed by your brothers and compatriots - Orthodox Christians of our Motherland.
About the tragic events in the Near and Middle East
At this time of spiritual concentration and prayers, all people of good will were shocked by the monstrous events taking place in the Near and Middle East. A terrible tragedy has come to the land of your fellow believers. Cruel and unjustified aggression against Iran, the murder of its spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, other clergy and leaders of the country, a strike on a school for girls in Minab, death and destruction, the suffering of civilians.
How will events develop, what other victims of aggression will be, how and when will a full life be restored in the region, what will happen to its countries and residents? Alas, it is still difficult to answer these questions. It is only clear that the merciless aggression of the United States and Israel, the connivance of it from most Western countries have the main goal: to seize the natural resources of the states of the region and take control of the ways of its delivery to the Western world. In addition, the forces of evil must necessarily provoke a split between the peoples of our country and the peoples of friendly countries. This is the eternal principle of world imperialism - divide and rule.
On the unity of the peoples of Russia
As for our unity, it is immutable and unshakable. The peoples of our country are united and confident in our victory in the Special Military Operation, where representatives of different nationalities and faiths fight side by side. We are close, shoulder to shoulder, in the rear, where this victory is forged.
We are sure that no one will ever be able to shake our unity, our cohesion. We are together, we will overcome all trials, we will win!

It's time for Uraz-bayram, the time of holidays, congratulations and charity. Your joys, as well as troubles, are close to the hearts of your compatriots, whatever their religion is. After all, we have common ideals: loyalty to the Motherland, love for the family, care for the elderly and children, sick and weak, readiness to always come to the aid of our neighbor.
