About forty-five years ago, in a famous children's film, prophetic words were heard that in the future "robots, not a man" will be stuck. What then seemed only a naive song and fantasy, today is literally realized before our eyes, turning into the reality of the modern era.
Sacred texts and words of sages have long indicated that in the era of final Liberation, the material world will change to recognition. The main feature of this time will be that people will be completely freed from the need to earn daily bread with heavy physical or mental work. Their whole life will be devoted to the disclosure of the wisdom of the Torah and the understooring the Creator.
As RAMBAM (12:5) writes: "In those days there will be no famine, no wars, no envy, no rivalry, for the earthly goods will be in abundance, and there will be as many foods as there are earthly dust in the world."
Rebbe King Moshiach claims that technological progress was created by the Almighty precisely to free a person from hard physical work and give him the opportunity to spend time and energy studying the Torah.
Today we observe how this deep spiritual reality begins to manifest itself through the rapid development of modern technologies.
Famous entrepreneur Elon Musk said in his recent interview that in the coming years artificial intelligence will be able to surpass the aggregate mind of all mankind. According to him, in about ten years, robots and smart systems will take over almost all spheres of production, physical and intellectual work. Work will cease to be a way of survival and will become an exclusively voluntary choice of each person.
As a result of this process, an unprecedented abundance of resources, goods and services will arise in the world, and the usual importance of money will fade away, because states will be able to easily provide citizens with everything they need.
The technological breakthroughs observed today and the emergence of digital systems to a fundamentally new level are only an external tool through which the material world is prepared to fulfill the prophecy, relieving a person of the burden of everyday worries for the sake of a higher spiritual goal.
