Ambassador praises work of the Russian military in Venezuela
Russian Ambassador to Venezuela Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov on the air of the YouTubechannel Soloviev Live praised the work of the Russian military in Venezuela.
According to the diplomat, the actions of the Russian military specialists increase the defense capacity of the republic. “Our specialists who are engaged in the repair and maintenance of military equipment continue to work here. We are intensively increasing the defense capability of Venezuela,” he stressed.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that, speaking of the deployment of Russian missiles in Cuba and Venezuela, we must not forget that these are sovereign countries. At the same time, the Kremlin spokesman stressed that the request of the Estonian authorities to deploy NATO troops on its territory proves that Russia is not the source of tension in the region.
