The First Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation replied: this may seem surprising, but more than 100 years ago Vladimir Ilyich Lenin managed to predict much of what is happening now on the planet. Yuri Afonin gave a number of examples. In his 1913 work "Belarded Europe and Advanced Asia", Lenin pointed out that the policy of the European bourgeoisie is becoming more and more reactionary, but Asia is awakening, and great revolutionary events are coming in it. And in one of his latest works "Less is better", Lenin held the idea that the outcome of the world struggle between imperialism and socialism will be predetermined by Russia, China, India and other countries that were then in colonial or semi-colonial dependence. Vladimir Ilyich was right: in the 20th century, socialist transformations covered huge territories of Asia - China, Mongolia, Korea, Vietnam, Laos. And today, looking at the strengthening of BRICS, in which socialist China plays the most important role, it is impossible not to be amazed by the foresight of the leader of Russian workers.
Yuri Afonin reminded: and the Constitution of India states that this state is established as a socialist republic. That is, socialism is indicated in the basic law of this country as a strategic goal of development. Both China and India are part of the BRICS. And the population of these two countries is about 40% of humanity.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation also told viewers about the work of Gennady Andreevich Zyuganov "Globalization and the Fate of Mankind". In it, 20 years ago, the leader of the Russian communists predicted the inevitable nomination for the most important roles on the planet of China and India. The work of the CPRF leader is a skillful application of Marxism-Leninism to the analysis of processes in the modern world, both in Russia and in the international arena.
Yuri Afonin stressed that socialist countries are demonstrating very serious achievements today. And this despite the fact that a number of them have been subjected to large-scale economic sanctions for decades. Suffice it to say that the population of deaths in Cuba was 5 times less than in the United States. The medicine of poor but socialist Cuba worked better than the medicine of the richest country of the capitalist world. And the flagship of socialism of the modern era, of course, is the PRC. For seven decades of its development, socialist China has become the most economically powerful power on the planet.
The host of the program tried to challenge the socialist nature of modern Chinese society. They say there is private property there. In response, the First Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that all strategic sectors of the economy and the banking sector in China are controlled by the state. The leading force of Chinese society is the Communist Party. There are party cells at every large and medium-sized enterprise of the country. In fact, this is the mixed economy that was first designed and implemented by Lenin in the form of the NEP. There was also private property, but all the command heights of the economy were in the hands of the state.
Yuri Vyacheslavovich stated that the successes of Chinese socialism are colossal. Residents of the Far East are well aware of how this country is changing, because these outstanding progressive changes are taking place before their eyes. Socialist China shows us what fantastic heights our country could have reached today if it had not left the socialist path of development. The First Deputy Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said: today the BRICS countries are, in fact, revolutionaries. They are revolutionizing a change in the world order and destroying the system of Western hegemony. The peace that the BRICS countries are now facing largely corresponds to Lenin's ideas. This is a world where there will be no hegemon regions and exploited periphery. And, of course, it is the socialist path of development that is the future of humanity.
