- Gennady Andreevich, you took part in the St. Petersburg Forum in different years. Did the current one surprise you with anything?
- Not that it surprises, but it leaves a good impression. First of all, by the fact that it gathered representatives of 140 countries, 20 thousand participants on its sites. European leaders hysterically scare the world by Russia, and no one is afraid. On the contrary, Russia, its policies are saving for the world. Because President Putin, together with Chairman Xi, created both BRICS and the SCO, which show an example of a new policy, a new look at the economy, on the relations of sovereign states, where man is in charge. If you read Xi Jinping's latest report at the Chinese Communist Party congress, the main idea is to take care of a person. If you look at Putin's greeting on the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the main thing is justice, the main thing is respect for a person, the main thing is to defeat neo-Nazism...
- Are you satisfied with the results of the work at the forum of representatives of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation?
- Quite. Communist governors have already concluded profitable contracts. The Ulyanovsk region, where the governor is Alexei Russkikh, received a package of almost 80 billion rubles, huge projects, ranging from aviation to a new pier in connection with the southern corridor... Khakassia, headed by Valentin Konovalov - for 60 billion. He will build, among other things, a magnificent project in the industrial complex, in the mining industry. Now Andrey Klychkov, the head of the Oryol region, is signing 5 outstanding projects, from a new airport to a medical center...

- What do you expect from our President Putin's speech?
- I am waiting for a fundamental assessment of the international situation. I just listened to Vladimir Vladimirovich's night interview. Everything is presented very professionally, moreover, from a legal point of view, he proved to everyone that our SVO is a well-thought-out and peace-oriented operation. And those who do not want to conduct normal negotiations are the continuation of the war. The president has a very balanced position on the Israeli-Iranian conflict.
- People say that the air smells like the third world war. What is your forecast?
- I think it's time for X in the world. Without a smart social policy and socialization of life, it is basically impossible to get out of this deadlock. This is detailed in the materials published on the party's website, Pravda, and Soviet Russia, prepared for the XIX Congress of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. You have to study, watch. All patriotic forces are doing this now. On Monday, by the way, we will hold a large press conference - "Results of the St. Petersburg Forum, tasks of our congress and victory program".
- Your deputy Yuri Afonin and I noticed that there is a lot of red color on the forum. How to explain it?
- Red is the color of the communists, the color of the flag of the USSR, the color of the Victory Banner. And in general - the color of optimism and prosperity.
- Is this your initiative?
- Yes. And here in one of the centers you will now see the Red Banner of Victory and the Order of Victory on it...
