Rotary and Freemasonry.
Quote from joshf731 on October 2, 2025, 14:13"ROTARY was founded by Freemason Paul P. Harris in Chicago in 1905, and in San Francisco by another Freemason, Mr. Homer W. Wood. More often than not, it is Jews or Israelites who spread Rotary throughout the world. In Paris, it was the Jew Franck in 1923, supported by two Freemason deputies, Etienne Fougère and Ulysse Fabre. The 49th district, Paris, included around thirty Freemasons and as many Jews, including Professor René Cassin, who was to become De Gaulle's personal adviser.
...Rotary is in fact part of what a certain mafia is advocating today: Ecumenism. But this ecumenism is nothing other than Masonic ecumenism, and a manoeuvre by the occult power launched to destroy the Church of Jesus Christ"
Catholic Marquis de La Franquerie, Lucifer & the Occult Power (p. 50)
"Then in the 12th century Jewry attempted to gain control of the Papacy with help of the Jewish cardinal Pierleoni, and the sect of the Albigensians also prepared in secret the greatest revolution of the time. Through this Christianity was to be destroyed, and simultaneously in secret other sects were founded, which wished to master all Europe, abolish the existing order and destroy Holy Church. Jewry thus restricted itself not only to organising one sect, one revolutionary movement, but caused secretly several, differing from one another, to arise. The ideologies and principles were different and suited to satisfy the taste of all. If one did not agree with the programme, the dogmas or the confessions of faith of one sect, then perhaps the others would convince him. And if one sect failed, another would triumph.
At all events they supported each other mutually in secret, even if also following apparently opposing and. incompatible programmes. Thus Jewry began to apply another of its tactics: not to trust to the victory of one single organisation, but to found many organisations with different and even contrasting ideologies, which did justice to the most diverse wishes and opinions. The Jews do the same today. They found Christian-democratic parties, extreme Right parties—without the name playing a role—,Centre parties, socialist, anarchistic and Communist parties, as well as Freemasonic, Theosophical and Spiritualist organisations, ROTARY CLUBS, Boy Scouts Organizations and many others. It would require too much space to mention all those which—as well-known writers have proved—are controlled by international Jewry. Thus the Synagogue can control men of the most different tendencies and ideologies, watch over Christian and gentile peoples and drive onward their plans for world rule."

Magazine Sodalitium (no. 38, June-July 1994):
“Rotary was born on February 23, 1905 in Chicago (Illinois, USA). The founders were 4: Gustav Loehr, mining engineer, S. Schiele, coal merchant, H. Shorey, tailor and Paul Percival Harrys, lawyer [1] and freemason.
It must be said that if the doctrine and public practice of Rotary is very similar to the Masonic one, it was not – however – rich «in those connotations of secrecy and esotericism, in those initiatory rituals that characterised Freemasonry» [13]. In short, Rotary appears as a public Freemasonry and as the antechamber of the esoteric and secret one, where the Freemasons can easily fish out people who have entered through naivety, to make them "three-dotted brothers"
“Religious indifferentism”, as the Jesuit Pietro Pirri defined it, constitutes one of the principal charges that the Roman Church has brought against Rotary (see L'Osservatore Romano, 15 February 1928, “What is Rotary ?”)» [15] . Rotary first spread to English-speaking and Protestant countries (Canada and England, 1911), then to Western Europe and Latin America (1920-1939), and finally to Asia and Africa.
In 1928 the Catholic Church attacked Rotary (see P. Pirri , in “L'Osservatore Romano”, 15 February 1928) accusing it of para-freemasonry, since “its morality is nothing but a disguise of the Masonic one” [19] . On February 4, 1929, the Holy Office published a decree prohibiting priests in Italy from joining the Rotary Association, while in Spain, Cardinal Primate Pedro Segura y Saenz , Archbishop of Toledo, on January 23, 1929, extended the prohibition to simple baptized lay people, since the Association was based on an autonomous and secular morality , a globalist conception , a conception of philanthropic brotherhood in opposition to the theological virtue of charity, a subjectivist and relativist philosophy.
Even “La Civiltà Cattolica” dealt with the Masonic-Rotary question in three articles (16 June 1928, 21 July 1928 and 16 February 1929), in which the Rotary association was defined as “a Masonic emanation, a new kind of Freemasonry that operates in broad daylight”.
Political secularism, with the absolute separation of Church and State, is a cornerstone of Rotaryism and is contrary to traditional Ecclesiastical Public Law.”

"It is only when one’s attention has been called to the foolishness of seeking for peace, harmony and order in the world, while the order of the world crowned by the supernatural is neglected and even rejected, that one realizes the full force of the contrast between the communications of ROTARY CLUBS about peace and the Encyclicals of Pope Pius XI, insisting that no peace worthy of the name can be attained if Our Lord and His Church are left out of account."

"In the Revue Int. des Sociétés Secrètes of 16th October, 1927, there was a quotation from Neues Reich of 9th July, 1927, concerning the Rotary Club. According to this extract, Rotary is a particular aspect of Masonic activity, a sort of open Masonry. The principal object of Rotary is the elevation of the moral level of humanity. Hence at the recent Ostend Congress of Rotary Clubs from the entire world, the Belgian Minister of Justice defined Rotary as “a code of lay morality and of national and international citizenship.” To those acquainted with Masonic ideals, this last phrase speaks volumes."
