On Thursday, April 5, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, who will resume the office of President next month, congratulated the Chief Rabbi of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia (FEOR) Berl Lazar on the Passover holiday.
"This is one of the brightest and most joyful holidays, especially revered by Jews around the world," he notes in the message. - Its origins, it goes back to such an important event for the Jewish people in biblical history - the outcome that brought deliverance from centuries-old slavery."
