The center was opened at the prayer house, which is rented by the local religious organization of Muslims of St. Petersburg "Al-Fath". It is located two minutes walk from the Sadovaya-Sennaya metro station, on Moskovsky Prospekt, house 10-12.

According to "Ridovka", at the forum "Multinational Russia" it was proposed to introduce a "Sharia patrol" in Kotelniki near Moscow. Thus, Muslims are invited to "calm their own", since the locals are apparently unable to influence them.

The head of the local administration, Sergei Zhigalkin, announced that the police are not always enough to talk to migrants in Kotelniki, and no one will listen to "employees of the administration with a stick"; the situation in Kotelniki is getting worse every day, and daily reports of "cultural skirmishes" have become commonplace, while it seems that law enforcement agencies cannot cope with it.
