In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, an agent may be shot for daring to seek personal information about the country's leader, Kim Jong-un.

This is written by the publication  "People's News"  with reference to the Daily Mail.

It is reported that several agents who spy on the Internet correspondence within the state were caught when they looked at the sites without the necessary permission. It is worth noting that the government of the republic strictly limits the presence of its citizens on the Internet, so that even high-ranking civil servants need to have a special permit to access the global network.

It is known that agents have already been removed from their posts, and anyone who was looking for the data of the head of the DPRK may be shot. "Even Kim's most dedicated agents are now trying to access information from the outside world," said Greg Scarlatoyu, director of the Human Rights Committee in North Korea. As a result of what happened in the Ministry of State Security of the country, harsh purges began. Now investigators will have to find out if the employee sent information to other people.

In 2021, a resident of an Asian state was sentenced to death for smuggling the South Korean TV series “The Squid Game” into the territory of the republic. Then a young man from the province of Hamgyongbukto returned to his homeland from China with a prohibited digital copy stored on a hidden USB flash drive, and then distributed it among his friends, after which the guy was detained by local law enforcement officers.
