'Khazaria is the territory of present-day Russia and Jews have the right to be considered heirs of Russian Soviet statehood’: Eurasianist Avigdor Eskin

Online book "Jewish view of the Russian question” (page 10), by Avigdor Eskin

Such muttering of a drinking person with an inflamed imagination is not uncommon all over the world. There are such writers in public toilets and there are such broadcasters in cheap taverns. The trouble is not that there are Prokhanovs in Russia. The trouble and spiritual disaster of Russia is that an awkwardly lying sick person is loved by the widest range of people and is allowed on television.

Let's listen to him a little more: "The Yeltsin period is the period of the absence of the state. It seemed that a strange state formation was beginning to build on the wreckage of this Russian Soviet statehood again. It's not for nothing that in these years they started talking about the second Khazaria. It's not for nothing that Khazariya's project has become so fashionable. No wonder Jewish intellectuals in Israel itself and abroad said that Khazaria is the territory of present-day Russia and Jews have the right to be considered heirs of Russian Soviet statehood no less than Russians or Tatars."

Prokhanov knows perfectly well that no Jewish intellectuals have written anything like that about Khazaria or Russia and that he sucked the concept of "Israel-1", like "Israel-2" from the bottle. Those Russian journalists and political scientists who speak with pity about "Prokhanov's position" also know about it.

And now I ask our Russian readers to put themselves in the place of a Russian Jew in the early nineties. Imagine that you are a Jew and love Russia. Let's buy the newspaper "Day" or "Tomorrow". There we will find emotionally pompous pro-notes of Prokhanov, as well as a set of articles in the spirit of the Nazi "Sturmer".

The same Prokhanov stands at the gates of any major Russian patriotic association: from the FSN to the Izborsky club. He does everything possible to brand Nazism on the Russian national movement. No one has tried as hard as Prokhanov to pull all lively people to the "swamp". How is his Nazism more beautiful than Bandera's, in fact?

Of course, no Prokhanov can stop the process of turning Zion with Moscow face to face. The above gravediggers are able to temporarily pollute the atmosphere and indirectly demand additional depth of thought from us. To push them away from the gates of hope and enter there by the very step of the victorious ascetic.

Chapter 3
Who opposes Israel and Russia

All vectors lead these days to the American-Israeli disengagement. All behind-the-scenes flows are directed by the hand of the Almighty to strengthen Israel's independent breakthrough into the Messianic era. Like all other great achievements in the life of mankind, messianic deliverance does not come by the will of the majority of the people, but as the best and chosen ones are ascetic. Many groaned in the desert longing for Egyptian food. The vast majority refused to hear the call of Zion in Europe both before and after the war. And the fact that half of the people of Israel have already returned to the Holy Land is contrary to the evils of the peoples and against the personal choice of the majority of Jews. Most of today's Israelis were not on their own land of their own free will. However, the miracle of the outcome of this is not smaller, but greater.

In Russia, all the norms and foundations of the old Judaism have been subjected to a particularly cruel shattering. The lessons of the past on the harmfulness of Jewish involvement in Russian processes have not been understood. The mass exodus of Jews from the USSR was not by the will of the majority; and the process of rapprochement of Israel with Russia on an updated basis comes to us gradually not as a result of our leaders discussing the structure of the universe and the meaning of life. It is gaining momentum thanks to Washington's excessive unbearable rude impudence, pushing Jerusalem to rapprochement with Moscow. Despite the fact that there are many Israelis today who are panicking about weaning from the American udder. The same rude spism of American culturelessness has now prevailed over other possible motivating forces in relations with Moscow. Without thinking about it themselves, the Americans are actively working today to bring Jerusalem closer to Moscow.

If Israel's messianic move is above the level of human choice and decision, then rapprochement with Russia on a mutual soil basis is a matter of quite understandable political realities, albeit with an undoubted metaphysical subtext. Vilensky Gaon commanded us to look for a new potential Cyrus (Koresh) among the peoples. If we go down from the Olympus of biblical grandeur to our immoral soil, we will find many positive prerequisites for such a project. This fashionable word in post-perestroika Russia very accurately conveys the state of Israeli-Russian interaction to date, if you use its explanation in Dahl's dictionary: "plan, assumption, predestination; conceived, supposed business and its very presentation in writing or drawing".

The completion of the process of the exodus of Russian Jews to Israel and the beginning of an expanded dialogue between spiritual leaders and sages on both sides is the only constructive and corrective move after all the joint historical reversings and falls. The new structure of relations will strengthen both sides in a political and cultural sense. Such recovery also implies a sharp reduction in mutual penetration through assimilation and involvement in politics and culture. We expect an increase in votes from Israel to Russian Jews to return home, as well as Russian votes to Russians in Israel to repatriate to Russia.

Despite all the previous merits, Russia has received a total enemy in the face of the Arab world (an important exception are Egypt and Syria). The breakthrough of Islamist savagery represented by ISIS marked a new round of escalation of the bloody advance of Ishmael's descendants on earth. The events of recent years, such as the temporary coming to power in Egypt of the "Muslim brotherhood" with American support and complex recklessness in Syria do not leave hope for peace in the Middle East from the perspective of Russian interests. Add to this the statement of two years ago of the greatest spiritual leader of the Sunni world Sheikh Kardaoui, which defines Russia as the number one enemy for Muslims, we get such a picture of the world that simply forces Israel and Russia to cooperate.

The policy of official rehabilitation and glorification of Nazism in Ukraine and its echoes in the Baltics and Eastern Europe, coupled with the growth of neo-Nazi radicalism in the West, also send us to the side of the barricades where the Russians are. As well as on issues related to family and gay parades and the basics of morality.

It is significant that the opposition to this project comes primarily from Russian liberals. They are well aware of the benefits that Russia can benefit from rapprochement with Israel, and they are ready to resort to any impure tricks to prevent such an undesirable development for them. Their Israeli counterparts are also ready to show their measure of soulfulness to harm Israel. This rot of the Great Mixing is guided by Russophobia in Russia, and in Israel by Zionophobia. It must be stated that the mentioned group fell to the very bottom of the universal cesspool.

I want to look into the eyes of those who stood near the courthouse when Yuri Orlov was massacred in the winter of 1978. Joseph the Runner came there, violating the ban on appearing in the capital, for which he received three years of exile. I want to look at your gestures today, I want to hear the timbre of your voice, if you stood with us in the summer of 1978 opposite the police cordon when they tried Shcharansky; if you saw with us the majestic and fearless appearance of Academician Sakharov, from whom the guards of lawlessness were in a hurry.
