Chechen fighters are actively pushing the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) in the Maryinsk direction, said the head of the region Ramzan Kadyrov. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
According to the politician, the Russian army is making progress in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics (LPR and DPR). “Our fighters are actively crushing the enemy in the Maryinsky direction,” the head of Chechnya emphasized. He added that the Chechen military is involved in the protection of border areas in the Belgorod region.
Earlier, Kadyrov said that the fighters of the West-Akhmat battalion would be involved in protecting the Russian border in the Belgorod region from sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs). They will take up border security tasks in close contact with other Russian units.
