Israel's Technion and Pfizer to collaborate

The Technion Israel Institute of Technology and the American pharmaceutical company Pfizer have signed an agreement to cooperate in advancing scientific research on the use of artificial intelligence in drug development. This was reported by the press service of the Technion.
The Pfizer delegation met with Technion President Professor Uri Sivan, as well as representatives of the leadership and faculty of the institute in the field of life sciences and engineering.
“Scientific and technological breakthroughs in medicine require research and close collaboration between academia and industry. Collaboration with large companies is vital for projects of this nature, and I am pleased that Pfizer can make a big contribution to this task,” said Professor Uri Sivan.
