Hadassah Moscow Medical Center is Russia’s first to be managed from foreign nation (out of Jerusalem)
A new rehabilitation center has started working in Jerusalem at the Hadassah Hospital, one of the most famous medical institutions in Israel. The center was created to help patients who have suffered strokes, severe injuries, complex operations and neurological diseases, and is focused on comprehensive recovery with the participation of a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
The new complex uses modern methods of therapy: robotic systems for restoring movements, virtual reality technologies, as well as digital tools for monitoring the progress of patients. Rehabilitation doctors, neurologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and psychologists work here, which allows you to build an individual treatment program for each patient.
Hadassah Hospital was founded in 1912 in Jerusalem and for more than a century of history has become one of the symbols of Israeli medicine. Today it is a major university medical center associated with the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where clinical research is conducted and advanced treatment methods in oncology, cardiology, neurosurgery and rehabilitation are introduced.
Moscow is also directly related to the activities of Hadassah. In 2018, the Hadassah Medical Moscow Medical Center, a branch of the Jerusalem clinic, was opened at the Skolkovo Innovation Center. It became the first medical institution in the history of Russia operating under the management of a foreign hospital.
The Moscow Center provides multidisciplinary medical care, including diagnostics, surgery, oncology, cardiology, orthopedics and rehabilitation. Modern equipment is used here, and treatment is carried out according to international protocols with the participation of Israeli consultants.
The opening of a new rehabilitation center in Jerusalem and the development of the Hadassa Clinic in Moscow emphasize the role of this medical institution as one of the most important bridges between Israeli and world medicine.
