Morawiecki to Czarzasty: The Red Army brought you power, and enslavement to us
The extremely hot atmosphere has recently accompanied the post-communist Speaker of the Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty. Today, during the parliamentary debate, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki strongly demanded the convening of a secret meeting of the Sejm to explain Czarzasty's "Moscow connections".
"What is the difference between the Czarzasty MP and the Czarzasty Marshal? The former did not want to show his Russian connections, and the latter does not have to anymore" - said Mateusz Morawiecki from the Sejm rostrum.
The vice president of PiS also stated that currently "the Sejm is headed by a man who lets Moscow capital into a directly related business".
The former head of the Polish government also reminded that Czarzasty "did not want to fill out the security survey for many months" and "under penalty of criminal liability he did not want to answer the questions of the services".
Morawiecki argued that only during a secret sitting, the Sejm is "able to explain the Moscow connections of Marshal Czarzasty" and his contacts with Russian "agents of influence".
"Mr. Marshal, one correction. The Red Army brought you power, and us enslavement" - concluded Mateusz Morawiecki, referring to Czarzasty's statement from a few years ago that the Soviet army had "liberated" Poland, bringing it "freedom".
After the end of the speech of the former Prime Minister, the deputies in the Sejm Hall shouted: "Down with the commune!".
