At the delivery ceremony of the Order of the Mother Heroine, Russian President Vladimir Putin received a statue of Our Lady of Fatima from the French Sorlin family.
On International Children's Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented state awards to parents with many children.
Among the winners is the Sorlin family, who moved from France to Russia in 2015 and now lives in Moscow. Isabelle Béatrice Margaret Laroche-Sorlin, mother of ten children, received the Order of Mother Heroine.
After the ceremony, her husband, Fabrice Sorlin, vice president of the Russophile International Movement, presented the head of state with a statue of Our Lady of Fatima.
