GNOSTIC
It's time to discover the whole truth, to expose the spiritual essence of what reptiles call "political extremism". We confused them enough, changing the registers of our political sympathies, the color of our heroes, moving from fire to cold, from "rightness" to "left" and back. All this was just an intellectual art preparation, a kind of ideological warm-up.
We frightened and seduced both the extreme right and the extreme left, now both have lost their landmarks, have lost their way off the beaten paths. That's great. As the great Evgeny Golovin liked to repeat: "Anyone who goes against the day should not be afraid of the night." There is nothing more pleasant than the feeling when the soil leaves from under your feet. This is the first flight experience. It will kill the snags. Angels will be tenched.
Who are we really? Whose formidable face is increasingly clear behind the paradoxical radical political trend with the frightening name "national Bolshevism"?
Today, this can be answered without ambiguity and evasive definitions. Although for this you will have to make a brief excursion into the history of the spirit.
There have always been two types of spirituality in humanity, two ways - "the path of the right hand" and the "path of the left hand". The first one is characterized by a positive attitude to the world around us; it is seen in harmony, balance, goodness, peace. All evil is presented as a special case, a local deviation from the norm, something insignificant, transient, having no deep transcendent causes. The "right hand's way" is also called the "milk path". It does not cause a person special suffering, protects him from radical experiences, takes him away from immersion in suffering, the nightmare of existence. This path is false. It leads to sleep. Those who walk on it won't get anywhere...
The second way, the "left hand's way", sees everything in reverse. Not milk goodness, but black suffering; not quiet calm, but tormenting, fiery drama of split existence. This is the "way of wine". He is destructive, scary, anger and riot reign in it. On this path, the whole reality is perceived as hell, as an ontological reference, as torture, as an immersion in the heart of some unthinkable catastrophe originating from the highest heights of the cosmos. If in the first way everything seems good, then in the second way it seems evil. This path is monstrously complex, but only it is true. It's easy to stumble on it, and it's even easier to die. He doesn't guarantee anything. He doesn't seduce anyone. But only this way is right. Whoever passes through it will gain glory and immortality. Whoever stands, will win, will receive a reward that is higher than being.
The one who follows the "path of the left hand" knows that one day the imprisonment will end. The dungeon of matter will collapse, transforming into a heavenly hail. The chain of initiates passionately prepares the desired moment, the moment of the End, the triumph of total liberation.
Two paths are not two different religious traditions. Both are possible in all religions, in all faiths, in all churches. There are no external differences between them. They concern the most intimate aspects of a person, his secret essence. You can't choose them. They choose a person as a victim, as a servant, as a tool, as a tool.
The "path of the left hand" is called "gnosis", "knowledge". It is as bitter as knowledge, it also generates grief and cold tragedy. Once upon a time in antiquity, when humanity still attached decisive importance to spiritual things, Gnostics created their theories at the level of philosophy, doctrine, cosmological mysteries, at the level of cult. Gradually, people degenerated, stopped paying attention to the sphere of thought, plunged into physiology, in the search for individual comfort, in everyday life. But the Gnostics didn't disappear. They transferred the dispute to the level of things understandable to modern commoners. Some of them proclaimed the slogans of "social justice", developed theories of class struggle, communism. "The Sacrament of Sophia" became "class consciousness", "the struggle against the evil Demiurge, the creator of the cursed world," acquired the character of social battles. The threads of ancient knowledge reach for Marx, Nechaev, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Che Guevara... The wine of the socialist revolution, the joy of rebellion against the forces of fate, the sacred berserker passion for the total destruction of what is black, for the sake of finding a new, non-herereal World...
Others contrasted the everyday life with the secret energies of the race, the sound of blood. Against confusion, degeneration, they erected the laws of purity and new sacredness, a return to the Golden Age, the Great Return. Nietzsche, Heidegger, Evola, Hitler, Mussolini dressed the Gnostic will in national, racial teachings.
It is rightly said that the communists did not care much about the workers, and Hitler - about the Germans. But not because of their cynicism. Both were obsessed with a deeper, more ancient, more absolute aspiration - a common Gnostic spirit, a secret and terrible light of the "left-hand path". What kind of workers are there, what "Aryans"... It's completely different.
Between the "red" and "black", "white" and "brown" were thrown in spiritual search creative personalities, also called to the "path of the left hand", to the path of gnosis. Confused in political doctrines, falling into extremes, unable to clearly express the metaphysical contours of their obsession, artists from Shakespeare to Arto, from Michelangelo to Eemans, from troubadours to Breton fed on the secret wine of suffering, greedily absorbing in society, in passions, in sects and occult brotherhoods scattered fragments of a terrible doctrine that leaves no opportunity to smile. The Templars, Dante, Lotreamon... They have never smiled in their lives. This is a sign of special election, a trace of a monstrous experience, which was common to all "left-hand travelers". The Gnostic looks at our world with his heavy gaze. With the same look as his predecessors, the links of the ancient chain of the chosen ones of Horror. A repulsive picture appears to his eyes. The West, who has been crazy about consumer psychosis. The East is disgusting in its intensience and pathetic obedience. The sunken world, the planet lying at the bottom.

But the Gnostic won't leave his business. Neither now nor tomorrow, never. Moreover, there is every reason to triumph internally. Didn't we tell the naive optimists of the "right hand" where their excessive ontological trust would lead? Didn't we predict the degeneration of their creative instinct to the grotesque parody that modern conservatives are, who accepted everything that their more sympathetic (but no less hypocritical) predecessors were horrified of a couple of thousands of years ago? They didn't listen to us... Now let them pay attention and read "new age" books or marketing manuals.
