I watched the movie so you don't have to lol
It takes the alien demon deception to a whole new level. It's a nonstop glorification of demonic possession, throotherism, and people holding the idiot ball to keep the plot moving in a way that only Spielberg can deliver. Definitely has anti-Catholic pro novus ordo stuff in there too, though its subtle. Yup the aliens possess us because they love and care about us; they want us to love and care about each other more. Getting possessed is a wonderful feeling, full of happy animals and magic powers that you should totally just vibe with (seriously that's most of the movie). No doubt its full of predictive programming, the whole movie is programming IMO.
Maybe the whole Alien deception thing will take the form of mass possession? The idea has been flouted before, though I don't remember where. It raises an interesting point, though, how many people are possessed, oppressed, or manipulated? It's impossible to tell since only you can know what goes on in your head (and only if you try), though judging from the signs of the times I think the number is quite higher than we imagine.
Watched about half of it. Doesn’t even follow a traditiional story arch, kind of like the new crappy Happy Gilmore movie.
Love the part where the girls starts sobbing because the white men are torturing the “poor alien”. As if Aliens haven’t been torturing their abductees and performing sex magic on them. What a crock.
Its not a very entertaining movie. The second half has some parts that are just breathtakingly stupid.
Yup. "Hey I know you're upset the aliens gave you an anal probe, but its only because they care... about um.... climate change or whatever."
Just finished watching it this morning.
Seems clear that in the near future, those who reject the pro-alien agenda are going to be villainized for “holding back humanity” from its evolutionary potential, similar to the transhumanist villification of us Luddites.
I was stunned that Spielberg attempted to make alien abductions look benevolent and in our interest, when every single reported abduction experience was sheer terror for the abductee.
Can only assume that God is giving more and more over to deception in this seemingly last days.
But yeah, agree with you. Poor screenwriting. The climax was anti-climactic and the general story arc was lame.
Wasn't one of Spielbergs first movies close encounters of the Third kind? That also had a positive abduction thing going on I think 🤔
