The initiatives of the communists were mainly aimed at strengthening sovereignty and protecting the rights of citizens.
On August 14, the Voronezh Regional Committee of the CPRF held a press conference of State Duma deputies Sergei Gavrilov and Sergei Obukhov, who spoke about their work in the outgoing eighth convocation of the parliament. There has been a lot of work over the past 5 years. It was primarily connected with the fact that it was connected with a special military operation, as well as with the protection of the rights of Russians. In this regard, Sergei Gavrilov as Chairman of the Committee on Property, Land and Property Relations, as well as for Sergei Obukhov as Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Public Associations and Religious Organizations, was the broadest front.
State Duma deputies noted that over the past 5 years, the parliament has managed to withdraw more than 700 transnational corporations from offshore zones. Now these organizations work for Russia, comply with laws and pay taxes. Initiatives prepared by Sergei Gavrilov's committee against the background of anti-Russian sanctions due to the SVO made it possible to unblock Russian financial assets, including by transferring the accounting of rights to domestic securities to the depository system of the Russian Federation. This step strengthened the protection of the interests of Russian investors.
- The issues of state property management were of priority for the committee. We see this as significant reserves for the development of the country's economy, ensuring its technological and financial sovereignty. In the eighth convocation, the committee prepared the adoption by the State Duma of systemic measures to counter "shadow privatization" schemes and eliminate loopholes that allowed uncontrolled use of state property, including strengthening control over the work of appraisal companies and auction organizers, - said Sergey Gavrilov.
The parliamentarian also stressed that the CPRF does not agree with the liberal thesis that the state allegedly inefficiently manages this or that property, and everything should be decided by private owners. Sergei Gavrilov's Committee actively participated in the eighth convocation and in solving the land issue. The procedure has been simplified, the terms have been reduced and the cost of registering rights to plots for citizens and organizations has been reduced. Measures were also taken to include abandoned land in the economic turnover, to combat dangerous plants, including hogweed. All this expanded the opportunities for the use of territories in industry and agriculture, stimulated housing construction.
Sergey Obukhov said in his speech that a day earlier he met with Governor Alexander Gusev, a deputy of the State Duma from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Chairman of the Committee on Family Protection, Fatherhood, Motherhood and Childhood Nina Ostanina. The focus of the dialogue was the issues of education and recreation of the younger generation, demography.
- With the support of the representative of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kashin and Vice-Speaker Alexei Gordeev, the Voronezh region received serious federal assistance for social development programs of rural areas. We hope that all this will lead to the creation of territories of social optimism and, finally, increase the birth rate. There is already an example. This is the state farm named after Lenin Pavel Grudinin near Moscow, where every second family has many children," Sergei Obukhov said at a press conference.
Communists continue to strive for the law on "September First Capital" to be adopted at the federal level. Parents should have the financial opportunity to get their children to school. The practice in which graduates do not have an alternative to the USE for admission to universities is also unacceptable. At the same time, the parliamentarian considers secondary vocational education to be no less important.
In his speech, Sergei Obukhov once again focused on what measures the CPRF offers for the Voronezh region, which is a frontline region. First of all, an alternative to disconnections during attacks by enemy UAVs should be introduced. Towers, data centers and communication channels should not be a blocking tool, but a shield for citizens. It is also necessary to implement targeted threat alerts instead of signals for the entire region. Obukhov believes that the production of drones should be deployed in the Voronezh region and citizens should be rewarded for the elimination of enemy drones.
The situation with the shortage of gasoline was a separate topic. A single federal strategy is needed to solve the problem. The authorities' theses that refineries or gas stations are commercial facilities are not an excuse. There should be some requirements throughout the country to protect fuel facilities from enemy drone strikes. In addition, the way out of the current situation could be the creation of a whole network of small oil refineries. Now large refineries immediately become a target for the enemy.
- Everything that is offered by the CPRF faction on the security of Voronezh residents is not different topics. This is one topic: the state is obliged to protect a person. From the fragment.
