Several years ago, Dobrodeev's wife Marina became the owner of a mansion in the Balaton cottage settlement on Rublevo-Uspenskoye Highway. She has 1.1 hectares of land and a house with an area of 1.9 thousand square meters. A house and a plot of approximately the same area in this village are now being sold for 830 million rubles.

Balaton is a small village in Gorki-2, there are only 22 mansions surrounded by a pine forest. “An example of a worthy choice of successful and business people who value silence, peace and harmony with nature,” this is how realtors advertise the village. The territory of the village is patrolled around the clock.

The son of Dobrodeev  , the CEO of Mail.ru Group, also lives well  . Boris Dobrodeev and his wife jointly own over 60 acres in the Zhukovka 21 cottage settlement. A plot of the same area is now up for sale for 865 million rubles. Dobrodeev Jr. and his wife purchased the land in 2014 from a certain Alexander Ksenzhuk. Also named is a Moscow Region businessman, whom the Investigative Committee put on the wanted list a year earlier in the case of land fraud in the Odintsovo district.

Oleg Dobrodeev has worked in television all his life, and he has headed the state media holding for almost 20 years. Over the past few years, VGTRK has shown serious losses - in 2018, the holding's loss amounted to almost 25 billion rubles.

Whether Dobrodeev could afford a plot on Rublyovka is unknown, there is no information about his income in the public domain.
