Putin says Judaism one of the foundations of Russia


Russian President Vladimir Putin called Judaism one of the great moral values ​​on which a strong centralized Russian state developed, along with Orthodoxy, Islam and Buddhism. He uttered these words during his address at the ceremony of signing an agreement on the entry of four new territories into the Russian Federation, which took place on Friday, September 30, in the St. George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

Recall that from 23 to 27 September in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, referendums were held on joining Russia. According to the results of the referendums, according to the election commissions, 93.1% of people voted for joining Russia in the Zaporozhye region, and 87.1% in the Kherson region. In the LPR and DPR, joining Russia was supported by 98.4% and 99.2%, respectively.
