“The Holy Zohar at the 'Balak' Parasha (Page 212) talks about many matters that are supposed to happen at the latter days. Among other things the Zohar tells us that in the Hebrew month of Elul (which is the 6th Hebrew month according to the Biblical count), within 25 first days of the month, 3 high places will fall in one city.

Not only that, but also the Zohar tells us that the Palace of Strength (the Hebrew phrase 'HECHAL HAOZ' is hard to translate) will also fall-down in the same day. But the Zohar does not say that this will happen in the same city. And we saw the "Palace of Strength" of the United States, which is obviously the Pentagon, attacked by terrorists, causing a big part of it to collapse in that same day. And that is truly amazing.”

Russian Chess grandmaster Valery Salov relates how a world chess championship match between Garry Kasparov and Viswanathan Anand, took place in the South Tower of the twin towers, starting on September 11th 1995 & games 9 to 11 were won with rook (tower) sacrifices.

From a Kabbalistic/Talmudic point of view, this 'beginning' could have been referring to the start of Jewish exodus from the West. Very possible that this ‘beginning’ refers to something else.
