An indication of the origin of the word "Kabbalah" can be found in Dahl's dictionary in the article about the word KOB. COB means magic, witchcraft, fortune-telling. Many words came from this root, and completely unexpected, including the word KABBALA or KABALA, which in general does not matter.

In Russian Orthodoxy there was a science of the divine world, it was called "Wisdom of God" or Sophia (Light) Wisdom of God. It was the highest religious philosophy. The Kabbalah is based on Hebrew, and the Wisdom of God was based on the Alphabet of 21 consonant letters plus the letter "A". And now there are just 22 consonants in the Russian alphabet, including "A" which is considered a silent consonant. Such a number of letters in the Russian alphabet appeared in the twentieth century not by chance. The wisdom of God's Russia is back.
