Trump's Special Envoy to Ukraine Could Be Russian-Jew Boris Epstein
The special envoy of the 47th US President Donald Trump for the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine may be lawyer Boris Epstein, who was born in Moscow and lived in Russia until he was 11. This was reported by the New York Times, citing sources. Epstein himself proposed his candidacy for this post.
Epstein spoke about the offer to become a special envoy on a plane when Trump was flying to meet with Joe Biden, and some of those on board were “shocked by the idea” because Epstein has no diplomatic experience and has legal troubles in Arizona, where he was accused of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Boris himself cites as an argument the fact that he has relatives both in Russia and Ukraine. According to the newspaper's interlocutors, Trump did not accept, but did not reject Epstein's offer "and did not take on any obligations."
Boris Epstein was born in Moscow in 1982. His family emigrated to the United States in 1993. In 2016, Epstein became a senior adviser to Donald Trump during his first presidential campaign and subsequently served on Trump's legal team.
But Trump has already appointed a new White House press secretary. For this job, he has chosen 27-year-old Carolyn Levitt, whose last name also indicates Jewish origin.
