Russia's Jewish Autonomous Region opens ferry service to China

On May 10, a ferry service between the checkpoints Amurzet and Lobei (PRC) was opened in the Jewish Autonomous Region, the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor administration for the Khabarovsk Territory, the Jewish Autonomous and Magadan regions reports.
The crossing will operate for about half a year - from May to October until navigation is closed.
“Two ferries will run between the checkpoints, which will carry out three flights a day. In addition to the ferry crossing, cargo transportation by barges is planned, ”the department for the JAO of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration explained.
