Russian Muslim Council decides Muslim men allowed to have up to four wives at the same time

The Council of Muslim Spiritual Leaders of the Russian Federation has made a decision allowing men to enter into up to four religious marriages. At the same time, men are required to inform all their wives about the conclusion of new marriages.
This opportunity is provided in cases where the spouse cannot have children due to health reasons, due to the end of reproductive age, or for other objective reasons, such as, for example, sexual incompatibility with the spouse.
The fact that the wife does not want to have children is also taken into account, explained Alyautdinov.
