In Kostroma, a local resident was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony for intimate correspondence with 67 children. This was reported to Lente.ru in the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The investigation and the court found that the man created accounts on social networks with fictitious female names and corresponded with girls aged 10 to 15 for five years. The defendant sent them pornographic photos and forced the children to do the same, and also started intimate conversations with them.
The man was found sane and guilty under paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 132 (“Other acts of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim under the age of fourteen”), as well as part 3 of article 135 (“Commission of indecent acts without the use of violence against two and more persons under the age of sixteen) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The convict was forbidden to work with minors of 15 years.
Earlier it was reported that in Moscow the police began a search for pedophiles who founded a "sex school" for girls aged 10 and 11.
